Oli Bonzanigo was born in 1989 in Milan. She lives between the Lombard metropolis and Palermo.After graduating in Fine Arts at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London, she studied sculpture with Peter Kelley at the London Academy, and then drawing and painting at Slade School of Fine Art. In 2012 she returns to Milan where she begin working for the Battaglia Artistic Foundry, historical Milanese foundry, specialized in the technique of lost wax, where she oversees the productions of young international artists. Her artistic research explores a wide variety of languages including painting, installation and sculpture; focusing on the origin and movements of raw materials and how they influenced the dynamics between civilizations. In 2014 she took part in the Marrakech Biennale with The 13th hour and then again in 2016 with the project Marble-sugar. Letizia Cariello was born in a family of Neapolitan origins that has been dedicated to sculpture for two hundred years. She currently lives and works in Milan. She graduated in Art History at the Università degli Studi of Milan and, after working in cinema in Italy and in the United States, she graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. A recurring theme in her work is the construction of spaces in relation to her body, which require the artistto make an intense labour. These are mental spaces, transfigurations of thoughts and moods. Evangelia Kranioti was born in 1979 in Athens. Today she lives and works in France as film director and visual artist.Her practice encompasses photography, video and writing. Her works mix desire, nostalgia and relationship with origins. She graduated in law (National University of Athens), visual arts at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, and she also earned a diploma from Fresnoy – National Study of Contemporary Arts. She won numerous scholarships and awards such as the Analix Forever Award and the Fresnoy Friends Award. Her works are exhibited both nationally and internationally: Paris Photo, Biennial of Moving Images, Geneva Contemporary Art Center, Palazzo Grassi, Faena Art, MASP Sao Paulo, Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Palais de Tokyo, NY Photo Festival, Thessaloniki Biennale. In 2016 she received two Iris Awards from the Hellenic Film Academy for her first documentary work Exotica, Erotica, Etc. (2015), which the same year was also awarded at the Forum of the Berlinale and presented in several festivals. Recently she was given an award for her second film-essay Obscuro Barroco at Berlinale 68 (2018).
Enrique Ramírez was born in Santiago de Chile in 1979. Today he lives and works between Paris and Santiago. He studied folk music and cinema in Chile and in 2007 he continued his studies in France at the National Center for Contemporary Art – Le Fresnoy (Tourcoing, France). In 2013 he won the Des Amis prize at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and in 2014 the Loop fair in Barcelona. His works have been exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo, the Centre Pompidou, the Louis Vuitton Cultural Center, the IX International Biennial of Art in Bolivia, the Amparo Museum, Puebla, Mexico; The Museum of the Memory of Santiago; the MATTA Cultural Center, Argentina, Buenos Aires and at the Gran Café in Saint-Nazaire. Teresa Sala works between Milan and Bologna as freelance filmmaker and director. After gaining a bachelor degree in Science of Cultural Heritage with a focus on Cinema and Theater, at the University of Milan, she graduated in Filmmaking from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Since 2013 she has been collaborating with production companies, foundations, public and private institutions, making documentaries, institutional videos, commercials and web content. In addition to commissions, she pursues her personal research by experimenting with languages, contents and formats. Her filmography includes documentaries, short films, commercials and experimental research projects that include video performances and installations. Her films have been presented at numerous international festivals. Together with the anthropologist and filmmaker Rita Maralla, in 2013 she created Marsala, a multimedia artistic research project on the relationship between body, space and identity. Thadeusz Tischbein, born in Chemnitz in 1971, lives in Germany. Between 2008 and 2016 he studied in Leipzig, Braunschweig (Germany) and Bucharest (Romania) with Candice Breitz, Clemens von Wedemeyer and Günther Selichar. His work traces tragic political legacies, truths that must not be forgotten and from which important lessons for the future can be drawn. Driant Zeneli is an Albanian artist. Born in 1983 in Shkoder, currently lives and works between Milan and Tirana. In 2019 he represented Albania at the 58th Venice Biennale. His artistic research focuses on redefining the concepts of failure, utopia and dream, which represent the starting point for new possibilities. These elements play a central role in his most recent works, which are both cinematographic and performative. In 2017 he won the MOROSO Prize and in 2009 the Young European Artist Award Trieste Contemporanea. In the same year he was appointed artistic director of Mediterranea 18 Young Artists Biennale, an international and multidisciplinary event that took place between Durres and Tirana. He is co-founder of Harabel Contemporary Art Platform based in Tirana. Teresa Fogolari is a digital artist and designer, she was born in Udine in 1996. In 2019 she graduated in Creative Direction from University of the Arts London. Her practice focuses on creating otherworldly atmospheres as well as exploring new technologies and their implications. Davide Zulli, Varese 1993, grew up in the worlds of graffiti and illustration. In 2018 he gained an academic diploma in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, where he is currently attending a two-year specialization course in sculpture. His artistic research is articulated through speculative archeology practices in which Zulli takes on the role of the researcher, often emphasizing the contrast between a violent and chaotic reality and an intimate and punctual dimension. Caterina Gobbi was born in 1988 in Courmayeur, today she lives and works in Berlin. She is a visual artist, performer and DJ, whose research is particularly focused on the emotional ties that human beings have with and in the surrounding environment. A pivotal element of her research is that of sound, used as a means to explore relationships. She graduated in set design at the Royal College of Art in London, where she was able to deepen her interest in material and conceptual experimentation. Cecilia Mentasti was born in Varese in 1993. She lives and works between Como and Milan. She recently completed her studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts where she graduated in painting. She founded the collective project BRACE BRACE, an independent space whose research ranges from contemporary art to photography and graphic design. The aim of Cecilia’s research is to bring to light the silent and unrecognized work of all the quiet actors of the art system who take care of the works: restorers, assistants and art handlers.
